For over 50 years, we - the EHL Hotel Management School Passugg - have been preparing young people for their careers. We offer networked training courses from basic education to higher technical college to bachelor's degree. Since 2014, we have been part of the EHL Group (Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne Group), which is one of the most renowned academic hospitality management education providers in the world.

We are looking by appointment or from August 2025

You will be responsible for preparing a variety of Asian dishes for our training outlet, "Umami," as well as for our main restaurant, "The Market," and various events. Additionally, you will support practical training and oversee the operations of "Umami" under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

Your main tasks:

• Preparation of various Asian dishes
• Creation of innovative, new dishes
• Independent management of the training outlet "Umami"
• Mise en place for day-to-day business
• Daily cleaning of the satellite kitchen
• Insure the required hygiene standards according to our HACCP concept

Your profile:

• Further training with a specialist certificate is an advantage
• Experience in Asian cuisine (Sushi, Chinese, Thai)
• Several years of experience in the upscale hotel industry
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with young people
• Good knowledge of English, German is an advantage
