As part of a major organizational transformation, we're building a sustainable and scalable payroll function and are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist who thrives on bringing structure to complexity and driving continuous improvement. Your contribution to our success
- Play a key role in the payroll transformation, supporting migration to a new system while driving process improvements, automation and digitalization initiatives
- Co-lead the design, implementation and stabilization of payroll processes and structures resulting from organizational and legal entity changes
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with all legal, tax and regulatory requirements
- Independently execute payroll runs, including monthly and year-end activities, across multiple entities
- Maintain robust payroll controls, reconciliation and validation processes to ensure accuracy and data integrity
- Manage social insurance and pension matters, including annual reconciliations, absence-related benefits and compensation fund settlements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR, managers and employees on payroll, social insurance and related matters
- Analyze payroll data and trends to support reporting, decision-making and continuous improvement
- Commercial, business administration or payroll background, ideally complemented by further education in Human Resources, Social Insurance or a related field
- Several years of experience in payroll administration and processing, ideally in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong knowledge of Swiss payroll accounting, social insurance regulations and reconciliation processes
- Experience supporting payroll transformations, process improvements, system implementations or digitalization initiatives is highly desirable
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Mirus is an advantage
- Reliable and service-oriented team player with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level); additional language skills are an advantage
