In the role of Senior Marketing Specialist you will:
- independently develop and execute marketing measures across the full marketing mix, from concept to delivery, owning every stage of the process
- stay closely aligned with the sales team to understand active leads, target segments and emerging niches and proactively build marketing responses that support pipeline growth
- drive our presence across modern media formats, including social media, audio, podcast, visual and video content and AI-powered channels
- own corporate communications: editorial blog, newsletter and content calendar, ensuring consistent, compelling output
- manage press relations by drafting press releases and building and maintaining a network of relevant media contacts
- co-develop the overarching marketing strategy together with the Head of Business, contributing strategic thinking alongside hands-on execution
You bring 3+ years of experience in B2B or tech marketing, ideally in media, publishing, or SaaS, and a strong track record of working autonomously. You identify what needs to be done and do it, without waiting to be asked. Your creative instinct is paired with strategic thinking: you connect market signals and pending sales activity to concrete, well-timed campaign ideas.
You have hands-on expertise in social media, content marketing and modern formats such as audio, video and podcast. You are an excellent communicator in both English and German, written and verbal, and you can adapt your voice across channels and audiences.
You bring genuine industry knowledge and a real affinity for the publishing and media world. You follow what's happening in newsrooms and you're genuinely excited about how news is created and consumed today, and where it's headed. You also bring curiosity and openness toward AI-assisted tooling: you experiment with how new technologies can sharpen your work and you're eager to grow alongside a team that takes them seriously.
