Junior IT System Engineer

We are currently offering an interesting opportunity as Junior IT System Engineer (m/f/d) at our location in Aarau, Switzerland. If you are looking for a varied and exciting new professional challenge, we are happy to receive

​Your responsibilities:

  • ​Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud platforms. 
  • ​Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and optimal operation. 
  • ​Implement security protocols, perform regular system updates (Cisco preferred) 
  • ​Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems and applications. 
  • ​Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet strategic business objectives. 
  • ​Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for knowledge sharing and audit purposes. 

​Your profile:

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
  • ​Skills in IT systems engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role. 
  • ​Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker). 
  • ​Experience with firewalls, routing, switching, and other network technologies. 
  • ​Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Java, Python) is an advantage. 
  • ​Fist Experience in Database-Administration (PostgreSQL) 
  • ​Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • ​Fluent in German and English
