Herzog & de Meuron is an international architectural practice based in Basel, Switzerland. Established in 1978, the practice is led by the two founders together with the Partners and the CEO. Today, an international team of over 500 collaborators is engaged in a wide range of projects across Europe, the Americas and Asia. The main office in Basel works in tandem with studios in Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, Paris, London, Hong Kong, New York, and San Francisco.
For our headquarters in Basel, we seek a motivated Digital Media Producer to support and manage communications activities within our Digital Media team. The ideal candidate is someone skilled in different forms of digital communication, with a focus on marketing and social media content production / community management for the architecture, arts, and design sector.
Your tasks will include:
- Supporting digital media activities of the H&dM Communications Department and broader marketing initiatives of the office
- Producing content for the website and social media, including assisting in concept development, filming, editing, posting, and monitoring
- Running sponsored campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn
- Monitoring and responding to comments across social media channels
- Managing content on the office website
- Collecting and analyzing performance data
Your profile:
- At least four semesters of visual communication, marketing, design studies, or equivalent
- Fluent in English; German or Chinese proficiency is strongly appreciated
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Technical knowledge of social media platforms and analytics software
- Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail
- Video editing skills and familiarity with Blackmagic Design, DaVinci Resolve Pro, and related software are a plus
- Previous experience in related design fields and cultural sectors (publishing, exhibitions, graphic design, film, communications)
