We are supporting a large pharmaceutical company in identifying an experienced Export Finance Manager to act as Finance Business Partner and Single Point of Contact for a portfolio of international export markets, branch offices and non-trading legal entities.
Export Finance Manager
This role combines finance business partnering, commercial contract assessment, technical accounting, revenue recognition, reporting oversight and process improvement activities within a complex global export environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Legal, Commercial, Export Operations, Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Finance SPOC for assigned countries and legal entities.
- Review commercial and service agreements from an accounting and finance perspective.
- Assess revenue recognition and validate provisions, rebates, reductions and deferrals.
- Prepare Accounting Position Papers (APPs) and Accounting Position Memos (APMs).
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
- Resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Support SAP HANA and LDC transformation activities.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient financial operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Strong finance and accounting background.
- Experience with commercial transactions and contract assessment.
- Understanding of export business models.
- SAP knowledge.
- Experience in financial reporting and month-end close.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
