Job description

Depending on the assignment and organizational context, responsibilities may include:

  • Development and execution of category strategies for indirect procurement (e.g. IT, Professional Services, Marketing, Travel, HR, Facilities, CAPEX-related indirects)
  • End-to-end strategic sourcing activities including market analysis, RFX processes, negotiations, and supplier selection
  • Management of supplier relationships, performance, and risk
  • Stakeholder management and alignment across business functions
  • Contribution to cost optimization, value creation, and process efficiency
  • Support of procurement transformation initiatives, digitalization, or governance frameworks
  • Contract management in collaboration with Legal and internal stakeholders

Expected Profile

We are particularly interested in professionals with the following background:

  • Several years of experience in strategic procurement or category management, with a focus on indirect spend
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience working with international suppliers
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to operate confidently at senior stakeholder level
  • Experience in complex, matrix-driven organizations is an advantage
  • Fluency in English; German and/or French is a strong asset
  • Swiss market experience or eligibility to work in Switzerland
