Job description

You will act as a hands-on leader in monitoring, analysing, and responding to cyber threats. The role involves developing advanced detection rules, enhancing SOC tooling, conducting threat-hunting activities, and collaborating across teams to improve the overall security landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM and EDR tools.
  • Develop and maintain detection rules and response workflows.
  • Conduct threat-hunting activities leveraging intelligence sources.
  • Coordinate security incidents across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on remediation and improvements.

Expected Profile

You hold a higher-education degree in computer science or information security and bring several years of current, hands-on experience in information security, particularly in SOC environments and EDR technologies. You work analytically, demonstrate strong ownership and communicate effectively in complex technical settings.

Additionally:

  • 10+ years of information-security experience, incl. SOC and EDR expertise
  • Strong SIEM skills (Splunk preferred)
  • Understanding of offensive-security techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required
  • Willingness to work 100% on-site
