- You provide second-level support to users facing specific application issues.
- You collaborate with teams managing dependent applications and suppliers to ensure smooth operation of the application.
- More experienced IT Support resources will have specialized Application / infrastructure knowledge and be able to perform minor changes (e.g. write scripts, read code, change batch jobs) in order to resolve more complex or unique problems and/or devise workarounds.
- Expected to set out the framework and standards in this discipline.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs web based application Issues.
- Documents, maintains and upgrades software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
About the customer:Join an international team of IT specialists at our well-know insurance client in heart of Zurich. As an IT Supporter, you are in a Team responsible for our web based individual life insurance applications. You understand both customer requirements and the technical specifics of the application and its interfaces.
- Contract type: temporary employment via Swisslinx
- Duration: 12 months (starting immediately), extension possible
- Location: Zurich, 60% onsite and 40% home office

Requirements:- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Problem-solving and analysis skills.
- Experience with Windows Server OS and Azure Cloud
- Understanding of network and security concepts
- Good knowledge of service management (ITIL)
- Accustomed to working in a structured and process-oriented environment and using appropriate working methods
- Fluent German and English skills
