Data Privacy & Compliance Officer
myLife Diabetes Care AG is a growing, independent Medtech company focused on innovative insulin pump systems for people with diabetes.
The Data Privacy and Compliance Officer leads the Group's global data protection framework (70%) and the Compliance function (30%) within a highly regulated medtech environment.
The role ensures compliance with EU GDPR, Swiss FADP, and other applicable data protection laws across the organization. In addition, the position supports corporate compliance activities typical in a medtech company (e.g., business conduct, anti-bribery & anti-corruption, HCP interactions, investigations, policy governance).

Support us in the production and development of cutting-edge medical technology solutions that enable people around the world to self-manage diabetes and other chronic diseases.
- Lead and maintain the Group’s global data protection governance framework
- Act as designated Data Protection Officer (where required)
- Oversee GDPR, Swiss FADP and any other relevant regulatory compliance across business functions
- Serve as contact point for supervisory authorities and data subjects
- Embed privacy-by-design into IT, HR, Commercial, Digital Health, and R&D processes
- Support privacy-related contract reviews and third-party risk management
- Develop and deliver privacy training programs
- Support the overall governance of the Group companies
- Support and maintain the Group Code of Conduct and related policies
- Contribute to anti-bribery & anti-corruption (ABAC) frameworks
- Support compliance relating to interactions with healthcare professionals and patients
- Assist with internal investigations and compliance risk assessments
- Monitor legal compliance developments relevant to business conduct
- Deep knowledge of EU GDPR and Swiss FADP
- Proven experience as DPO, senior privacy counsel, or equivalent role
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably medtech or pharma
- Strong understanding of health data and sensitive personal data frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Data Protection Impact Assessment breach response, and data governance programs
- Solid understanding of corporate compliance frameworks in life sciences (e.g., ABAC, HCP interactions, Code of Conduct)
- Familiarity with governance and risk management systems
- Strong pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business solutions
- Strong stakeholder management in matrix and international environments
- Hands-on approach — operationally engaged, not purely advisory
- Fluency in English; German advantageous
