You can move it

  • Contribute to the finalization of ACAS-Xr and ACAS-Xu implementations within RUAG's simulation environment, with the possibility to explore ACAS-sXu
  • Translate reference implementations provided in Julia into deployable C or C++ code, creating a robust, testable, and safety-aligned software foundation
  • Support RUAG's DAA system and collaborations with leading aviation partners, laying the groundwork for future certification and operational use
  • Gain exposure to the aviation industry and learn how airborne systems are applied in practice while expanding your professional network

What you should bring with you

  • Experience in Python and C/C++, knowledge of Julia is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Git or similar version control systems
  • Familiarity with collision avoidance systems is a plus; prior knowledge of the ACAS-X standards is not required
  • Creative and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation
  • High technical aptitude and strong willingness to learn, especially in modeling and simulation, system theory and algorithms, control engineering, and system architecture
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the project team
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills, combined with a high level of responsibility and perseverance
  • Good command of English; knowledge of German is an asset
