Data & Digital Workflow Specialist (f/m/d)

Join our client as a Data & Digital Workflow Specialist to play a pivotal role in optimizing their data handling, streamlining their digital workflows, and bridging the gap between technical and business functions. Collaborate with their scientific and technical teams to adopt cutting-edge advancements while ensuring their data and workflows adhere to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles. Provide a seamless experience for end-users while contributing to broader data and business strategies.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Enhance data accessibility and interoperability through FAIR workflows and process analysis
  • Optimize data pipelines, integrate digital tools, and migrate legacy data for better usability
  • Lead product development, solution rollouts, user training, and change management
  • Document workflows and provide ongoing support to ensure effective system usage
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT, business, and end-users, reporting progress to leadership

Profile

  • Minimum Master’s in Scientific or Engineering Disciplines, Bioinformatics, or Data Science (in a quantitative scientific field)
  • At least 2-3 years proven track record in business analysis, data pipelines, and digital workflow optimization, especially in scientific/lab environments
  • A strong understanding of FAIR data principles, process analysis, and product ownership
  • Experience with SLIMS, LIMS, eLN, data management systems, and lab automation is a plus
  • Collaborative, analytical, and solution-oriented, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • English fluent is a MUST, German and French nice to have
