Director of Cultural Strategy & Innovation

Are you a builder of visions, a creative strategist, and a cultural storyteller? An emerging arts-focused organization in Lucerne is looking for an inspired leader to take the reins of its mission-driven journey-where classical music meets future-forward innovation.

This is not your typical leadership role. As the organization's founding full-time executive, you'll help bring a new cultural institution to life-working side-by-side with the visionary founder to design, launch, and lead bold initiatives that blend tradition with transformative ideas.

  • Shape the organization's identity, operations, and long-term vision
  • Assemble and lead a small, powerful team that thrives on creativity and purpose
• Partnership Alchemy
  • Spark collaborations with artists, venues, and institutions across Switzerland and Europe
  • Represent the organization as an influential voice at cultural events and networks
• Program Design & Experience
  • Oversee concert productions and educational media projects from concept to delivery
  • Guide the tone and experience of all public programming with a creative edge
• Funding the Dream
  • Develop inventive fundraising strategies-including donor cultivation and grant sourcing
  • Manage financial planning and reporting with care, precision, and vision for growth

• Background in arts leadership, non-profit management, or cultural innovation
• Proven ability to lead teams while building from the ground up
• Passion for classical music, education, and cultural engagement
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
• Deep understanding of or connection to the Swiss/EU cultural landscape
• Residency or work eligibility in Switzerland or the EU, with preference for those based in Lucerne
