What you will do

  • You ensure that our cloud platform continuously evolves and is utilized by the cloud application teams.
  • You design the architecture and develop the cloud infrastructure for new and migrating applications.
  • You support the operation of and optimize cloud applications in terms of cost, resilience, security, and DevOps.
  • You continuously coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify new needs and ensure that the delivered services meet requirements.
  • You promote continuous improvement in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time.

What you bring

  • Minimum of a bachelor degree in computer science, engineering domain
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and operating cloud platform capabilities in the areas of FinOps, Security, Compliance, Regulatory, and Resilience for Azure and AWS using Palo Alto Prisma  Cloud, IBM Cloudability, Rubrik Cyber Recovery, Azure Policies, Qualys, Azure Advisor, Azure Defender for Cloud; At least 5 years of experience in using DevSecOps and IaC principles with Azure DevOps, Palo Alto Prisma, Veracode Application Security, Sonatype Nexus, SonarSource Sonarqube, Elastic ELK, Terraform
  • At least 7 years of experience in building Azure & AWS cloud applications using IaaS and PaaS services, especially AKS/EKS, Azure Function App, Azure Container Instance, API Management, AppServices, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, AWS Batch, Glue, Step Functions, S3
  • At least 7 years of experience in migrating applications to Azure, from the initial assessment of the on-premise application, to designing the target architecture, to cut-over and operational support using migration strategies (7-Rs). At least 7 years of experience in setting up and operating cloud applications, especially backup/restore, adoption of well architectured framework, logging, monitoring & alerting, multi-regional disaster recovery capability, patching, and incident management. -> could be merged with point 4
  • At least 10 years of experience in delivering services using offshore and nearshore providers as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with international stakeholders at all levels, ability to make longterm product delivery planning, risk assessments as well as risk mitigation plans, status reporting & governance in the whole SAFe way of working; fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
