(Senior) Finance Manager 100%
Job Description
- Responsible for the monthly and quarterly group reporting for Swiss and foreign STAAR affiliates in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage cost accounting for locally manufactured products and related financial/reporting aspects such as inventory valuation, in close collaboration with relevant local departments and group Cost Accounting
- Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projection, or (capital) project controlling
- Manage the preparation and filing of local statutory financial statements for STAAR Surgical AG as well as certain foreign entities, in collaboration with outside consultants
- Work with internal/external auditors and coordinate related activities internally
- Recruit, train, lead and develop a multinational, motivated team of (currently) 3 financial analysts
Your profile
- (Applied) University degree in Finance / Accounting, certified expert in financial reporting and controlling, CPA or equivalent certification
- Proven expertise in US GAAP/IFRS and cost accounting are required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role with progressively increasing responsibility
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an international environment
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written. German and/or French skills are a plus
- Highly proficient in use of Excel; experience with Oracle Cloud ERP advantageous
- Excellent analytical, prioritization, decision-making and communication skills
- Precise, structured and reliable way of working, being able to both see the “big picture” and focus on details
