Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will sit at the heart of our client's Business Underwriting expertise, helping steer underwriting and pricing decisions that really matter.

You will have the opportunity to influence underwriting practices globally, strengthen local capabilities, and contribute to better, more consistent outcomes for our client's Group Life, Disability and Health businesses. Guided by technical excellence and results orientation, you will work with underwriting teams across the globe to make sound decisions, manage complexity, and continuously raise technical standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Life Scheme Underwriting and Pricing frameworks across our client's businesses
  • Carry out expert review and give guidance on complex cases, providing high quality, value creating underwriting input
  • Contribute to the evolution of pricing tools, underwriting practices, and the use of analytics to improve consistency and outcomes across markets
  • Strengthen local underwriting capabilities through targeted training, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
  • Perform technical underwriting and portfolio reviews, identifying emerging risks and recommending actionable improvements

Your Profile

  • Solid experience (5+ years) in group pricing and/or scheme underwriting within life, disability and health insurance or reinsurance; Actuarial training is an advantage
  • Strong background in data and analytics with proven ability to translate technical insights into clear underwriting recommendations
  • Experience working across markets and cultures in an international environment
  • Deep understanding of group protection products and scheme underwriting principles
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
