Key Account Manager DACH
Our client is a diagnostic company which aim to reshape the diagnostic field.
Your primary objective will be to establish a significant global footprint in blood banks, donor centres, and other blood establishments across the allocated territories commencing within Europe.
You, as Key Account Manager will plan and execute their sales activity to provide successful sales results within the multiple donor screening sites to compete for new accounts and gain market share according to the sales and marketing strategy.
You will be in charge to research and understand the timescales of an account and its tender history and requirements in order to successfully plan, and strategically manage the sales to be in the best possible position to bid.
Product knowledge should be at an expert level to ensure quality, the highest possible influence of any customer interaction.
Strong networking and communication skills is required with the internal teams to provide the best customer experience possible by utilising both internal and external expertise is extremely important part of this position.
Pre and post tender sales activities include understanding and advising on laboratory procedures around donor testing, country regulatory requirement fulfilment, customer enquiries, co-ordinating implementation of the installation and commissioning, training, lectures and presentations.
You will be encouraged as an integral part of the team to uncover and propose solutions from your field intelligence to continuously improve our position across Europe.
Relevant education to degree standard or equivalent in biology, chemistry, lab medicine sciences or other related disciplines.
Knowledge of Blood and transfusion transmitted Transfusion disease screening.
Have a minimum of 5 years advanced selling experience in medical devices and /or diagnostic industry in blood transfusion.
Experience of strategic account management and the ability to influence within a hierarchical structure in an account.
Be able to demonstrate proven winning sales performance particularly in high value competitive wins.
Knows and applies efficient negotiation skills.
Tender writing experience.
Experience in CRM, Good understanding of healthcare compliance, Good computer skills (Microsoft office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
An individual leader who can articulate well between an autonomous role and being a team player, positively driven and results orientated.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact and engage with customers and peers in a professional manner.
Effective and professional communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in German and English.
Able to travel 50-70% of the time.
