IT Service Manager Consumer Healthcare - Contractor 10 months
As Tech/IT Service Manager, you will be accountable for owning and managing local IT Services and applications for your business stakeholders, as well as for driving related deployments and projects. You will be part of the local business facing IT team and work with global IT teams, external suppliers and local business and IT teams in a multicultural environment.
Own and manage the local Consumer Healthcare (CH) Tech/IT Services, including but not limited to: o local applications management, particularly for Human Resources o IT hardware and licenses provisioning • Lead the local deployment and delivery of Tech/IT projects, policies and processes across the local business community • Build strong partnership o with the local business stakeholders and an understanding of the local business requirements to help shape value-added CH Tech/IT services and solutions that enable business goals o with internal and external providers to ensure smooth delivery of local CH Tech/IT services at a competitive cost • Measure local CH Tech/IT services and customer satisfaction and benchmark against internal and external partners to proactively identify improvements and opportunities • Lead/facilitate end-user escalations and lead/coordinate the local CH Tech/IT response to crisis situations, like unavailability of a critical system or services, data loss, FLU Pandemic, etc. • Ensure local Tech/IT services/systems are implemented and managed according to global GSK quality, risk and compliance standards. Provide guidance to business users on these standards. Where deviation of standards occur, own and drive resolution to mitigate risks, ensure business continuity and meet regulatory and legislation requirements. • Where local applications are owned by the business, the role will support the business owner with the full IT lifecycle management and ensure adequate support models are in place.
Master level degree in Computer or Information Science or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in the application of information technology to analyse and solve business problems
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Service Management and working with business support teams and associated systems, relationship management with IT service providers, project and application management
ITIL practices focusing on service design and operations
Knowledge of supporting business functions (e.g. Procurement, Finance, HR) processes is a plus
Pharmaceutical or regulatory awareness
