The successful candidate will perform routine testing, coordinate test distribution and analyses in the Process Development support group. He/She will work mostly independently for routine analysis, act as a team contributor and will collect and prepare data for evaluation.
Perform experiments including preliminary troubleshooting after occurring issues
Maintain high quality for result reporting
Review results and calculations of daily lab work in the areas of expertise
Provide input and identify problems within routine testing
Maintain current laboratory equipment and operate analytical and other instruments
Work in a compliant matter in regards to local quality and safety systems
Assist in developing recommendations for improving standard procedures
Support Senior Technician/Scientist to ensure the availability of adequate laboratory materials and justify the purchase of new materials and equipment
Support IQ/OQ/PQ and other maintenance work
Maintain accurate record keeping and experimental data presentation
Draft test instruction and test protocols via DocSpace
Monitor proper recording of information to draft first conclusions
Communicate results to supervisor in a timely manner
Support the work of team members to accomplish team objectives on time and within budget
Who we are looking for:
Apprenticeship Biology/Chemistry/Food Technology and/or University degree in Biotechnology / Biology / Chemistry or equivalent
Hands-on experience with a range of analytical technologies and bioassays (HPLC, IC, GC, IEF, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, WB, A280)
1+ years of work experience in a related field
Experience with GMP would be an asset
Strong communication in German and English required
