Job description:

To our team we are currently looking for the candidates for the position:   
Line leader (m/f), Bern

As part of Manufacturing, you'll use your skills, our systems and a wide array of raw materials to help create the delicious finished products our consumers love. While taking ownership in your area of work, you'll also ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues while producing our top-quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain.   

Your main responsibilities include: 

  • Manage teams and ensure individual people development and coaching 
  • Create an atmosphere of acknowledgement and respect in the team 
  • Establish a team culture by providing clear understanding of the IL6S principle 
  • Ensure the most economic production process while meeting the production schedule with best quality and lowest possible costs 
  • Give support to ensure that the conversion organisation and processes are at the top of the industry standard regarding line productivity and efficiency 
  • Be responsible for QA/HSE Incident investigation and implementation of sustainable measures (CAPA) 
  • Achieve QA/HSE line targets 
  • Ensure that all products manufactured at the lines are in compliance with the specification 
  • Lead and initiate CI, productivity and organizational projects within the line unit 
  • Support the interfaces to Business Development and R&D regarding new products, new processes, promotions and reformulation projects 
  • Permanently challenge the status quo as a day to day activity in the production unit regarding safety, quality and costs    

Required profile:


  • 2-5 years of experience on a similar position 
  • University degree in Manufacturing or Engineering (concentration in Food Industry is preferred) 
  • Knowledge in manufacturing process 
  • Understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes 
  • Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office 
  • Strong people management and communication skills 
  • Knowledge about IL6S Philosophy and strong will to change and learn new things (especially knowledge about AM steps) 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing,Technical or Engineering experience  
  • Experience Food industry and CI background 
  • Fluent German and English skills 
  • Project management skills
