Start IT Graduate Program
Would you like to gain global experience by working in different areas of IT? If so, START IT is for you! Roche IT supports innovation, drives cohesion and adds value to Roche. As an integral part of the business, we provide IT solutions and are experts in our field and our processes. Depending on your skills, current business needs and local labor law, we are offering the opportunity to join us at one of our globally distributed key IT sites (Asia, Americas and Europe) for an exciting 18-month program, working in a fast-paced, challenging and global IT organization. Focused on experiential learning and development, the program will expose you to different IT functions at your site and also abroad. By interacting and working side-by-side with IT and business experts within our pharmaceutical and diagnostics divisions, you will have the chance to build up a global network and gain the necessary skills for a career in IT
Collaborate with IT experts, take over responsibilities and work on projects
6-12 weeks job rotation to another Roche IT site, which will be tailored to your talents, areas of interest and development needs
Exposure to various IT functions across Roche with a focus on hands-on experience with the opportunity to develop professionally, as well as personally
Ongoing development assistance will be provided and senior management will be available for discussions in line with your career interests and needs
20% dedication to a specific project to ensure future readiness of Roche IT
Who you are

You have an excellent academic background and are a recent graduate (Bachelor or Master) with a degree in Information Technology or related subjects. You have a genuine interest in people and the ability to share our employer value propositions of courage, passion and integrity. You are a strong team player with a pronounced service orientation and proven collaboration and teamwork experience. You have strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills
You bring the following qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact at all levels of the organization with executives and senior leaders
Fast-learner, passionate about continually adapting your skills and knowledge, agile and IT savvy
Strong interpersonal, analytical and intercultural awareness
Fluent in two languages, one of which must be English
