As a Trainee in the Savoury EAME with Givaudan – the global leader in the fragrance and flavour industry – you will be part of the Marketing Business Unit for Savoury, reporting to the Category Manager.

You will be mainly responsible for developing categories marketing material, translating mega trends into flavour directions and category recommendation for the business. This position is limited to 6 months.

In this exciting role you will:

  • Develop categories marketing material:
    You will be developing and creating inspiring, engaging, customer relevant trends presentation for assigned categories, through analysis of customer products, growth rates, shares, new product introductions, press and social media analysis and competitive landscape.
  • Market analysis and trend scouting:
    You will be the regional subject matter expert for our trend tool, outlining drivers of change, marketplace examples, making recommendations on how the category is likely to evolve and linking the trends to our Givaudan technical capabilities. You will identify gaps and business opportunities in assigned categories and support the team in making choices to shape future plans for the Savoury business.

Your professional profile include:

  • University level on a technical or commercial background (food science or chemistry; MBA or marketing degree preferred)
  • First experience in food or flavour industry is a plus (ideally experience in Savoury)
  • B2B marketing experience (with strong knowledge of B2C Marketing) in an international environment
  • Outstanding written English skills (any other language is a plus)
  • Ability to create impactful and inspiring marketing material is a must
  • Design skills is a plus
  • Customer focus, Creative skills, marketing mindset and good analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with presentation skills
  • Team player
