Support quality planning, control and improvement for engineering, global procurement & supply chain and manufacturing in order to guarantee excellent product quality
Implement and monitor product development at external suppliers in the product development process, support production processes at critical suppliers
Organize and implement process release audits
Manage supplier escalations
Continuously improve the quality of delivered products and supplier processes through audits and supplier discussions
Provide guidance and support in the event of supplier complaints
Verify supplier manufacturing processes (PFMEA, Control Plans, Cpk and Ppk studies etc.) for stability and control
Perform supplier certification through supplier quality audits
Degree in engineering or another technical subject
Certification as 3rd party process auditor VDA6.3 and 1st party ISO/TS 16949 auditor
At least 3 years of professional experience in quality, engineering and/or manufacturing in the automotive or auto-parts industry
Deep know-how in launching new products
Familiarity with specific automotive customer requirements, VDA standards, system, product and process audits and ideally with coating processes
Knowledge in operating measuring instruments and LPAs audits as well as in quality systems planning, including PPA, statistical problem solving and VDA standards
Experience with ISO 14001, lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma methodologies
Hands-on, solution-focused personality with practical experience in change management
Excellent communication skills in English and German
Structured, proactive team player
Willingness to travel regularly (up to 50%)
