Product Safety Manager (m/w) for Switzerland
located in the corporate headquarter in canton Aargau
You are responsible for the creation and actualization of Safety Data Sheets in SAP-EHS for international customers for Switzerland and particularly for Europe.
As a part of that you are in charge for process management for Safety Data Sheets.
Over the first months and years of your work the current Safety Data Sheet base will become much more detailed and applicable for the current and future business need, so you will be the driver of a continuous improvement of that segment.
You will develop your expertise in Product Safety continuously with a wide range of trainings, certifications and additional activities, to maintain your status as the leading expert in the company concerning Swiss regulations.
You will solve relevant enquiries and maintain the internal database.
Beyond that you will supervise the current data situation and of compose a renewed Upload Procedure.
You will be responsible for the supervision of Dangerous Goods Issues in SAP EHS for REU
You will travel occasionally within Europe.
On a corporate level, you will act for the Product Safety Manager Europe, if he is absent.
You will report directly to the Product Safety Manager Europe Distribution Compliance.
You hold an academic degree in natural sciences, preferably in Chemistry.
As a base for your work you do have a solid knowledge in Chemistry, Pharma, Biochemistry or similar, with an idea of mineral products.
In general you are familiar with Swiss Safety Data Sheets.
You have a strong legal knowledge about product safety and you are able to read and interpret legal texts in the context of your position.
An ideal base for that is multiple years of job experience in a position of Regulatory Affairs or Product Safety, or a similar position in the wider chemical industry in Switzerland.
Strong experience with SAP EHS is a must, knowledge about REACH/CLP is desired.
You are experienced in dealing with external as well as internal customers.
Fluency in English is required, fluency in German and French (or other European languages) is helpful.
You are able to prioritize activities quickly.
