About the departmentDepartment of Injectable Formulation Research is part of the protein engineering platform in Global Research at Novo Nordisk. The department is responsible for evaluation related to formulation capabilities of novel protein and peptide molecules as part of selecting the molecules that will become drugs of the future. Furthermore, the department is responsible for formulation development and preparation to support preclinical testing. We are involved in a large variety of molecular formats including novel, complex formats with challenging formulation properties. Our technological backbone is HPLC/UPLC, fluorescence and imaging, but we also have access to a large number of more specialised instrumentation, situated in the labs we share with the biophysical departments.
The positionYour responsibility will be to be part of a dedicated and highly motivated team with strong expertise and well equipped with state of the art equipment, to allow advanced formulation research and characterisation at a high level.
QualificationsYou have practical experience and state of the art knowledge within protein formulation, with experience with one or more of the following techniques HPLC/UPLC, fluorescence spectroscopy, light scattering or imaging of proteins and peptides. Experience with IPR generation of proteins and peptides is also an advantage. You should be qualified at the PhD level, have post-degree experience and a proven record of relevant research.
