An international fund manager is hiring a senior sales person in Geneva, to be part of their European sales team. The role will target institutional investors in Switzerland, of whom you will be responsible for selling the firm?s fund range to and raise assets from.
The position will be ideal for an individual who has considerable experience (5? 10 years) working in a sales, fund raising, business development or fund distribution role with an investment manager.
Your main task will be to raise assets from institutional investors in Switzerland.
Support senior management in new business development and implementing the sales strategy.
Work on ensuring complete client satisfaction.
Have strong fund knowledge in order to act as a product specialist.
Work with the sales support / investor relations team to ensure all client requirements are met and queries addressed.
You will be required to build relationships with institutional clients including private banks, insurance companies, pension funds and family offices.
Skills / Experience:
This will be an ideal role if you are fluent in French and English, with experience working in a similar environment in Switzerland.
You would ideally have at least 7 years experience in selling hedge funds, with a strong knowledge of the financial markets in Switzerland.
Fluency in French is essential.
A proven track record in raising assets and developing relationships with institutional investors in Switzerland.
Can demonstrate a good understanding of various investment alternative and traditional investment products ? hedge funds, long only funds, fixed income funds etc.
