In order to keep pace with increasing demand, represent the brand at events and grow sales, we are now looking for a Brand Ambassador (100%) to join our team and cover the on-trade market in the Swiss German area! You will be the one to give WhiteFrontier a face in your market, taking responsibility for sales and business development, building relationships with (y)our customers, coordinating the brewery’s presence at events & fairs and meeting with local interest groups and networks.
The successful candidate will be passionate about craft beer and exploration, highly motivated to create a performing sales network, autonomous in the organization of his/her tasks and willing to go beyond the objectives, in order to support WhiteFrontier’s unique craft beer adventure! We are looking for someone with experience in developing and taking care of on-trade customers in Switzerland (hotels, restaurants, bars, catering etc.).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Brand Ambassador (Business Development & Events, Account Management)
The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for creating a sales network through different channels, participating in the creation of an appropriate sales strategy with the Head of Sales, and representing the brewery as a highly-regarded ambassador in the field, in events and with all stakeholders. The perfect candidate’s level of professionalism must be as developed as his/her sense of humor and his/her energy level. We believe in boldness. We thrive to explore.
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for his/her individual performance against sales team targets. He/She will participate in regular performance reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities in his/her sales action plan:
Organizes regular planned and unplanned checkpoints to pro-actively identify possible performance issues and establish a plan of action to address and correct the problems Pro-actively discusses performance issues and possible solutions with his/her management Shares his/her experiences and observations with his/her colleagues, in order to mutually improve.
The Brand Ambassador devises commercial strategies and techniques necessary for achieving his/her fixed objectives. It is his/her duty to map potential customers and generate leads and new sales opportunities for the company.
Decision making Responsibilities
The Brand Ambassador reports directly to the Head of Sales and will be one of the key persons in implementing the sales action plan. Moreover, a distinct sense of responsibility and autonomy is necessary to set up an individual approach in your present projects and objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The Brand Ambassador for the German speaking part of Switzerland has to level out:
Passion for craft-beer, the brewery, its products and processes
Pro-active and self-motivating personality
Good networking skills and socially active lifestyle
Negotiation- and persuasive power, excellent opportunity development skills
Good time management and organizational competences
Yield management: comprehension and optimization of margins and long-term potentials are crucial
Facility in verbal and non-verbal communication (interpersonal, team spirit, presentation skills, winning attitude)
High flexibility and multi-tasking skills (while staying focused on the main objectives)
Excellent understanding of the service quality you are delivering to (y)our customers
Experience, Education & other Requirements
Existing customer network and contacts within the industry is an important plus
Ideally 1-5 years (field) sales & business development experience
Knowledge of the beverage/craft-beer industry in Switzerland
Fluent in Swiss-German/German (written & oral): English, French and any other additional language are a big plus
International experiences and experiences in the food & beverage industry are a plus (bar, restaurant, events, ...)
Disposed to regular travel within the Swiss German speaking part of Switzerland (focus on Basel-Bern-Zu?rich)
Swiss residence permit or nationality
Valid driver’s license (Cat. B) for Switzerland
