Sales Manager Switzerland (100%)
The Sales Manager Neuroscience Switzerland leads the key account managers for all our key products, including development and implementation of sales strategies, goals and operational plans to drive sales and profitability for these products. The incumbent is accountable for achieving targets on sales, market share growth and Sales Force Effectiveness, based on a deep understanding of the customers/market place, key dynamics and policies and current knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies. This position also includes the lead of the customer service team within Commercial Operations Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Strategy and Planning:
Identify and implement business-building opportunities in order to support volume and market share growth.
Contribute input on national sales and marketing objectives, strategies and action plans based on analytics in order to drive the activities of the business.
Drive national top and bottom line performance through effective recruiting, training and deployment of sales team.
Continuously monitor sales performance; responsible for monthly sales force analysis and proposal as well as implementation of corrective actions where appropriate.
Develop and implement further tools in order to improve sales force effectiveness and market observation; report relevant market and competitive information in order to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the market, which supports business decisions.
Maximize impact of national congresses via innovative customer interaction at the booth and beyond the booth.
People Management and Sales Organization Development:
Ensure development of organizational and personal skills and competencies to fulfill business objectives. Continuously monitor organizational effectiveness and maximize the use of available resources.
Foster the effective team and work environment and encourage initiative. Provide ongoing training on strategic thinking, product knowledge and selling skills in order to constantly improve the quality and efficiency the team.
In our high-performance team environment, the role requires key cross-functional collaboration with the Marketing Team, Medical Team and Sales Force Analytics Team.
Contribute input to new sales force model anticipating changing market environment and developing customer needs.
Qualifications & Experience
University Degree in Science preferred
Substantial sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry
In-depth understanding of the Pharma market place including key dynamics, competitors, country regulatory
and market environments
Fluency in German and English, French would be a strong asset
Excellent cross functional collaboration skills
Experience in building relationships with KOLs and Key Accounts
Strong leadership skills and experience in leading, teaming with and motivation of Sales teams
