As part of a project team, the Project Specialist is responsible for building new analytical and reporting capabilities to drive continuous improvement in the Demand & Supply Planning area. The Project Specialist (PS) will support the Project Team in defining, implementing and sustaining standard processes across the EMEA region. The PS leads the delivery of process and system improvements on an operational and tactical level.
Main tasks are:
Business support in the development of a QlikView reporting tool for planning purposes. Definition of requirements, communication and alignment between planning functions and IT development teams applying SCRUM methodology. This includes:
Prepare and coordinate walkthrough/design workshops
Gap and issue management
User Acceptance Testing
Create training Plan and facilitate user training program
Development of on-boarding documentation and training material to explain and capture detailed information regarding processes, systems and specific supply chain set-ups to ensure that experts are well trained in their business area. Support and training of supply planning community
Support other regional process improvements and systems improvements to support improved measures such as MAPE & BIAS, UFR (Unit Fill Rate), OTIF (On Time in Full), Inventory & Plan Attainment
Partner frequently with cross functional partners in Planning, IT, Logistics, Product Lifecycle Management and Sourcing to ensure processes are supporting and integrated within the business
University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3-5 years of business experience and min. 2-3 years of Demand, Supply or Plant Planning experience
Process and systems knowledge of Demand, Supply or Plant Planning and Project Management
Lean or Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification is preferred
Experience with Advanced Planning Systems, QlikView and/or Jira is preferred
Strong combination of supply chain planning and leadership skills
Leadership skills in the areas of influencing and communication are required
Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a matrix environment
Ability to manage difficult issues and implement positive change
Negotiation skills and the ability to influence without authority are required
Enjoy working with multiple business partners, and able to effectively manage projects, timelines and change management
Fluent in English
Additional travel, up to 20%, may be necessary based on business needs
This role based in Zug, Switzerland will initially be limited until September 2018, with an option for extension.
