Main Responsibilities: The Manufacturing project specialist is as delegate of the manufacturing Manager/Supervisor responsible for the execution, efficiency and compliance of projects on the shopfloor in line with the production schedule, EHS and cGMP requirements. He/she is a change initiator accountable for initiating and follow up on changes in line with cGMP, EHS, Production schedule and user requirements. He/she is responsible for aspects of cGMP and external party inspections within manufacturing.
Daily monitoring fermenters including In Process Testing
Harvest / medium change
Lysis / DNA precipitation / Sedimentation & Clarification
Anion Exchange Chromatography
Diafiltration / Filtration / Formulation & Fill / In Process Testing
Product Storage / Product transfer
Support in validations, change requests & equipment maintenance
Responsible for record keeping and computer systems
Ensuring the cleanliness (5S), maintenance and organization of the spaces and equipment
Transfer of knowledge
Use the existing Lean Systems
Is responsible for (co-) development of processes and procedures
Leading role in actively improving the department using Lean methodology
A minimum of a Bachelor degree in a Life Science discipline
GMP awareness & experience is a plus
Organizational abilities in a complex environment
Good communication and negotiation skills in English and German
High level of customer orientation
Proven practice of root cause analyse / corrective action assessment
