Head of Pricing & Channel Steering

In this exiting position in the Consumer Customer Business Unit, you act as key interface between Product Management, Marketing & Sales and the Financial Planning. Responsible for structure, process and capability you enable the organization to drive effective profit growth through distribution steering, pricing and promotional strategies.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Develop pricing & channel steering strategies for all products, services, promotions and distribution channels aligned with stakeholder of the Consumer Customers Business Unit
Evaluate & execute Business Cases for all product launches and promotions. Ensure alignment with distribution performance and financial planning
Own Consumer hardware P&L and Subscriber Acquisition & Retention budget. Support Commercial teams with investment recommendations to stimulate higher turnover
Conduct competitive pricing analysis and create action plans
Trend scouting of Consumer hardware portfolio (mobile devices, wearables, accessories) in close cooperation with Procurement and Marketing & Sales
Own pricing initiatives end to end from strategy to execution
Develop deep understanding of the company's operations, cost and margin drivers, and incorporate this knowledge into pricing practices
Leadership and development of 4 experienced Pricing & Channel Steering professionals
University degree or equivalent education
Multi-year proven track record in a Pricing or similar leadership role; Telecom as a plus
Strong commercial sense complemented with excellent analytical thinking
Proven self-starter with strong initiative, enthusiasm for business, results orientation
Ability to explain, present and influence in a clear and consistent manner
Used to collaborate in a matrixed environment
Experience in leading and developing a small team
Fluency in German and English mandatory; understanding of French or Italian as a plus
