Our customers are engineers and scientists developing next generation controls, DSP, and vision technologies such as for autonomous cars, electric aircrafts, robots, medical devices, smart grids, power plants, smartphones, or augmented reality technologies.
Our solutions allow them to continuously verify and validate their designs along a complete Model-Based Design workflow using MATLAB and Simulink including virtual and real physical testing with actual prototyping and embedded hardware.
As technical sales engineer, you closely collaborate with electrical and systems engineers word-wide, by supporting them in developing next generation technology on time leveraging a seamless software and hardware workflow to rapidy test and prove new controls, DSP, and vision prototyping ideas.
Develop technical solution proposals for target machines designs for specific controls, DSP, and vision prototyping applications
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to electrical and systems engineers, mostly through online meetings, sometimes also on-site or at events in Switzerland, France, and the UK. You will spend around 80% of your time in the office, and around 20% on travel
Leverage technical knowledge and experience and collaborate with the technical teams to determine best course of action related to winning specific sales opportunities.
Close collaboration with existing and prospective customers
Work closely with the Speedgoat development and marketing organizations to further improve products, to identify new product and application areas based on customer interactions, and to develop accurate and compelling messaging targeting the marketplace
Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field of study
Strong French and English verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with MathWorks products MATLAB & Simulink, Model-based Design, and ideally Simulink Coder and Simulink Real-Time
Ideally working knowledge with C and ideally VHDL programming languages.
Knowledge of communication protocols is a plus (e.g. CAN, UDP, EtherCAT, Profibus, ARINC, RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI, I2C, ..)
