Consultant, Product Control (12 month contract)
Responding to client requests and liaising with internal departments such as product management, portfolio managers, operation departments, legal, compliance, auditors, etc. to resolve issues
Maintaining and optimizing the MIG21 system (our compliance application), by parameterizing funds, programming rules and implementing new functions
Monitoring of the fund’s investment restrictions (fund prospectus, KAG, KKV, KKV-FINMA, BVV2, UCITS, internal investment guidelines) with MIG21
Performing NAV plausibility checks with MIG21 before NAV publication
Cooperation with internal stakeholders such as Legal and Tax regarding launches of new funds and drafts of new fund regulations
The ideal candidate will hold an advanced qualification in economics or similar field (educated to University or Fachhochschule level or equivalent)
Good knowledge of financial markets, asset management, complex instruments, derivatives and accounting
Knowledge of Swiss laws and guidelines for investment restriction checks (KAG, KKV, KKV-FINMA, BVV2, FINMA-Guidelines, SFAMA-Guidelines) is an advantage
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Programming skills are an advantage
Committed, proactive and efficient approach to the role
Fluency in German and English is required
