In this exciting role you are managing the natural department in all technical, organizational and administrative aspects. You ensure a safe, reliable and stable operation of the natural substances manufacturing department. This includes a close and cross-functional collaboration with local stakeholders and external partners (e.g. Co-packers, tollers and suppliers). You actively contribute to a continuous improvement mindset across the Manufacturing team and drive the LEAN process evolution in collaboration with the Site LEAN Manager. Moreover you execute initiatives and projects at department level and act as a change agent for the local Operations Organization.

Safety You are leading by example and evolving a 'safety first' mindset across the organization. You are driving local initiatives in the Manufacturing area to support site objectives in the area of Environment, Health and Safety.
Quality You ensure a continuous improvement mentality in the Manufacturing team with a clear 'zero defects' ambition in collaboration with other functions. You also drive and support local and regional initiatives under the 'Engrained Quality' umbrella.
Cost, Investment and Budget ownership You manage cost (i.e. maintenance, personnel, utilities) at department level and across cost centers through strong and close collaboration with the relevant functions. You establish investment plans and the respective annual budget in collaboration with Engineering and Controlling.
Customer Centricity and Service You are an ambassador of a customer centric mindset across local functions. You drive an agile Supply Chain and ensure adherence to production plans (on-time and in-full).
Leadership and Talent Management You lead the Naturals Manufacturing Team (approximately 15 employees). You manage individual and team performance, provide coaching and develop local talents in collaboration with Operations Management and Human Resources. Moreover you are responsible for the hiring of department staff.

Your professional profile includes:
University degree (MSc or BSc with relevant experience)
Experience of 5 years in a comparable environment, whereof a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position
Good knowledge of manufacturing concepts, processes and related hands on experience
Proven project management skills
Knowledge of LEAN or Six-Sigma methodology is a plus
Fluent in German and English, both verbally and in writing, other languages (e.g. French) a plus
Microsoft Office i.e. Excel and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge is a plus
