In the context of the expansion of the production centre, you will be responsible to create Standards and maintain expertise for filling and packing lines, in collaboration with key stakeholders and suppliers. In this role, you will be providing technical assistance on existing lines and installation of new lines, as well as delivering functional training to the factory staff.

Main Missions:
 

  • Develop Standards for filling & packing lines, according to TPM principles

  • Lead interaction with key suppliers and internal customers to improve the existing technical design and Standards, deliver clear reduction of unplanned stoppages (UPS), improve MTBF and reduce maintenance cost                       

  • Ensure vertical start-up of improvement projects                                    

  • Lead Project Teams to identify the right technologies and machines for the right applications: from User Requirement Specification to machine fabrication, FAT, commissioning, installation and start-up, including CAPEX evaluation                                              

  • People & Know How: Train, coach and audit competencies in the defined area of packaging engineering, disseminate packaging best practices and knowledge at the shop floor, develop the necessary training materials                                   

  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects related to packaging lines (GSTD, BDA, DMAIC)                          
Education and experience:
 

  • Graduate in Engineering, preferably in Packaging, Mechanics, Mechatronics or Industrial

  • Basic knowledge of Automation                                                                     

  • Operational experience in Filling & Packing (minimum 10 years)

  • Oriented towards problem solving, project management and supplier management

  • Bilingual French and English, German is an asset

  • With good teaching and communication skills
