What does the role involve?
The Sub-Segment manager Data Centers contributes to the global sales development of this vertical by executing the agreed priorities in the assigned countries. You develop a blue print on how to drive DC business that can be scaled up and transferred to other countries in the assigned regions. In close cooperation with market organizations you drive initiatives and new business opportunities. In order, to win key opportunities you drive engagement with focus accounts leading projects teams and enable the sales team to successfully execute the offer focusing on building up segment & application competence. The Sub-Segment Manager Data Centers strongly contributes to the development of the segment globally by providing input for offering development, market reach needs and global team collaboration and know how sharing.
What you need is:
University degree in engineering, MBA preferred
At least 3 years working experience in data centers, ideally with experience in Sales & Marketing, Design & Engineering, Project Management
Strong business acumen, customer orientation and entrepreneurial spirit
Strategic thinker with a "can do" attitude to get things done
Strong team collaboration and ability to work within a matrix organization
Fluency in English with willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
