About the department
Our team impacts brand strategy and tactics development across the Novo Nordisk diabetes, obesity and biopharm portfolio in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in Global Marketing brand teams and key affiliates. We execute market research projects, conduct anonymised patient level data analysis and drive analytical projects and processes. As an integrated partner for Global Marketing brand teams and market access teams, we advocate a customer centric approach in the formulation of strategy and tactics. We also provide recommendations for senior management strategic decision making, based on analysis and impactful communication of insights derived from primary & secondary data analysis. In joining us, you have the opportunity to join an international, high performing team responsible for generating customer insights from physicians and patients and translating these to meaningful impact.

The position
You will provide recommendations for the yearly global market research plan, lead quantitative and qualitative market research projects, generate customer insights and provide strategic and tactical recommendations for key brands in Novo Nordisk. You will also lead the insights generation process annually for key brands to prepare for the annual brand strategy update. In this role, you will also provide management with “best in class” customer insights analysis to enable strategic and operational decision making. You are expected to maintain a strong business relationship with global brand teams, market access and key affiliates. The role requires a combination of structured project management skills, the ability to analyse and synthesise data in order to derive insights and the ability to challenge and refine assumptions.

Further, as a Senior Insights Manager you are expected to drive learning's across the team and key departmental processes to improve the insights generated. The role may also include coaching junior colleagues.

Qualifications
You have a Master degree in business, economics, social sciences or similar. You have deep experience in working with quantitative and qualitative market research projects, have strong analytical skills and can effectively communicate results to stakeholders at various levels. You have solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry or from market research agencies or management consulting firms with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. We expect the candidate to strive for excellence, thrive in a dynamic and international environment and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English and excellent interpersonal skills are required. Travel will be approximately 10-20%.
