DIGITAL MARKETING RESEARCH & INSIGHT MANAGER TEAM UBS
The role: We seek a Digital Marketing Research and Insight Manager to join our team delivering global advertising solutions for UBS. This is a demanding role working across a variety of functions. If you are results driven, have strong qualitative and quantitative research skills but are equally familiar with strategy, media, analytics, audiences and segmentations, we would like to hear from you.
Core responsibilities: The Digital Marketing Research and Insights Manager will report to the Head of Strategy & Content with the following key responsibilities:
Assist general strategy development across all campaign activity specifically for media channels, brand deliverables, content opportunities, and audience refinement.
Cover any quantitative and qualitative research studies in partnership with client, including being the lead expert on general brand research.
Be the expert on all in-market and competitor activity, proactively identifying trends to guide strategic thinking and developing reports.
Work alongside the media team and Senior Webanalyst to apply meaningful data and media insights to strategy work + campaign activities.
Input and collaborate with the media and strategy teams to help develop and manage overall audience segmentations and dashboards, applying analytics to on-going consumer journey mapping across all digital channels.
In partnership with the performance team, prepare and manage key results reports to clients, including preparing key presentations on a regular basis.
Collaborate closely with media and performance teams to ensure reporting is accurate, on time and insightful.
Proactively analyse data to identify new and improved opportunities for all teams.
Work with the creative and media teams to specifically analyse creative performance, user engagement and sentiment (paid and owned)and input into key creative strategic learnings.
Input and assist with data driven creative testing/solutions where applicable, working closely with the creative and performance teams.
Work with Head of Strategy and Content and Content Manager, to assist with the development of an integrated content approach for all channels.
Work with Head of Strategy and Content and performance teams to assist with the development of a social media strategy for all social channels.
Work with performance and account management teams to input into building holistic campaign and communication plans that align with strategic goals.
Work with the Head of Strategy and Content to proactively identify new opportunities within the broader Publicis Groupe and beyond, that will result in stronger brand strategy and activity moving forward.
Assist in the development of any strategy related client presentations.
In Partnership with client further develop KPI sets, benchmarks and measurement frameworks
Who we are looking for: We are looking for a research expert who can deliver strong insights for our client. This person can operate independently and confidently, and can work closely with the Head of Strategy and Insights to move brand strategies forward. This is a challenging and multi-faceted role. Strong understanding of general research principles as well as understanding media habits within the context of broader consumer behavior is key. The ability to ask the right questions, communicate insights in a simple and clear manner, solve problems and be constantly curious is essential.
University degree in Marketing, Communications, Research or similar.
2 years experience in a consumer research position within either a marketing, communications, media or research environment.
Knowledge of brand strategy with demonstrated experience building brand strategy.
General knowledge of digital, biddable, SEM and SEO activity is needed as well as the ability to understand and interpret media plans.
General knowledge of creative process and principles within a strategic framework. Understanding of best in class creative campaigns is desired.
Knowledge of Google and Adobe Analytics management programmes. Must be familiar interpreting media results.
Good quantitative and analytical skill set – research or statistical experience is desired. Knowledge of statistical data programmes a bonus.
Fluency in English – knowledge of German is a bonus.
High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Ability to work independently yet collaboratively across a matrix type structure.
Strong client and problem-solving focus with growth mind-set.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong PowerPoint skills. Ability to prepare detailed presentations to high professional standard is essential.
