What does the role involve?
In cooperation with BU's, Production, Marketing and Engineering you prepare and implement material group strategies and MoB decisions. You are part of the management team to drive the so-called product segment business Heavy Tools together with your stakeholders and represent the Strategic Sourcing organization. As a global supply market specialist for the material group family you constantly analyze market dynamics and trends and integrate supply market opportunities into the development of new products. Challenging and optimizing existing supply concepts, as well as leading professional and demanding negotiations is key for your contribution at Hilti. Also, setting and following up of targets for your team members and developing them to a high performing team is an integral part of your work.
What you need is:
Technical university degree and surround commercial and supply experience
Profound understanding of technologies and technical details necessary for interaction with development and supply engineering
Ability to define and implement Supply Chain strategies for own and teams` material groups
Professional negotiation skills in an international environment
Strong ability to lead through influence combined with strong communication and organizational skills
Fluent in English, any other language is a clear benefit
