Sales Excellence Specialist to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our commercial organization through the development, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement of our processes and tools. This position will focus on the Sales and Back office processes of the Life Science Business. We are looking for an open minded team player with broad experience in Customer Relationship Management, SAP and a high affinity for numbers and data analysis. The ideal candidate should be a highly organized self-starter with a "hands on" attitude and passion to build a new level of excellence in sales processes of our organization. You will work with and train a technical sales team in best practice (i.e. as facilitator). Furthermore you need to be excellent at working across a matrix organization and across multiple geographies. Responsibilities and core tasks:
Lead and execute projects as defined by the business needs
Execution of rollout and training for executed projects
Responsibility for the definition and continuous improvement of the Life Science Business sales processes and present proposals to management
Develop CRM expertise to support the business, understand what is captured, where are our opportunities to improve
Train sales organizations on use of CRM
Definition and collection of KPIs to track and steer the sales organizations
Report on KPIs and project status at regular interval
Support the sales organization with topics increasing the efficiency of sales delivery
Manage and work within cross functional teams to ensure collection of all requirements across the geographies and business areas
Act as interface between IT and the commercial organization to translate accurate requirements in infrastructure projects
Close collaboration with regional sales organizations to ensure clear understanding of operating environment and opportunities for improvement
For this job the following qualifications are required:
Business, Scientific or Engineering Degree
At least 5 years' professional experience in Direct Sales in the Life science /or Diagnostic industry
Analytical skills to perform analysis of processes and procedures, competitors, product positioning, prices, etc.
Strong Project management and Process Development skills with proven track record
Proven experience to effectively interact with senior leaders, sales employees and customers
SAP ERP Systems incl. Data Extraction and Analysis
Business Warehouse knowledge
Sales training preferably ChallengerTM methodology
Advanced CRM Tool knowledge
English is a must, German a plus, and any other language beneficial
Willingness to travel 20%
Effective communication skills with confidence to express opinions, strong analytical skills and detail orientation, and at the same time the ability to work hands on in a cross-functional environment are a prerequisite.
