Data Engineer / Data Scientist for Audit
Develop data analytics capability within the Audit function.
Develop and extract knowledge from internal data sets by applying various descriptive and predictive analytics techniques.
Together with the team design rich data visualization to communicate complex insights.
Drive the Audit database and build views to enable analytical investigation.
Write software to clean and investigate large data sets of numerical and textual data and drive the automation process.
Work on local and global audit projects with strategic impact and high visibility.
Interact with the Group Internal Audit team and gain banking knowledge first-hand through analysis of data supporting key Bank’s processes.
Contribute to the Data Science community in the Bank building knowledge network & become known for your skills.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Mathematics or Quantitative / Statistical Analysis subject
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant data analytics work experience
Good SQL proficiency, preferably using Oracle RDMS
Experience developing and maintaining complex ETL flows and pipelines, using clear, efficient and tested code
Development experience using multiple programming languages and tools (including one or more of Python, R, Spark, SAS, Handoop)
Ability, and with ease, to assemble data sets from disparate sources and analyze using appropriate quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks and systems
Experience in data visualization (experience with Tableau preferred)
Expertise in text mining, natural language processing is a strong plus
Background in banking and risk management / audit is an added advantage
Strong communication skills in English and German
