The Lead Data Manager (LDM) will be in charge of data management activities in the context of clinical studies. The LDM will be the key contact for the Contract Research Organization (CRO) assuming the data management function for a clinical study, monitor the quality and timeliness of data management deliverables and ensure that requirements and timelines are met according to objectives. The LDM will further interact with Clinical Operations and the Study Biostatistician. In addition, the LDM will develop/improve internal processes and standards for data management and statistical programming in context of clinical studies.
Lead Data Manager- Data Management - PASS
Review data deliverables from CRO to ensure that they are CDISC compliant and the CDISC Library.
Perform data management activities in accordance with the study-level plan, track the progress of the study against the agreed upon study plans
Evaluate the quality of the database
Support the data management activities across multiple studies, lead the data management activities on smaller less complex studies under minimal oversight
Skills and Competencies:
4 year degree preferably in life sciences
2-5 years experience operationalizing Clinical Data Management activities
2+ years project management / CRO oversight
Understanding and experience applying SDTM Standards
Judgment skills to work accurately and efficiently toward quality results
