Client Service Executive - BFS Digital Operations

The primary responsibility of a Client Service Executive is to develop and execute on account mining strategies to win large outsourcing or consulting projects using Cognizant's global delivery model. This role is a dynamic in nature and you would be responsible to generate new opportunities within Switzerland along with various vertical and country sales teams to add new logos for Cognizant. The role will entail leading pipeline generation activities, chasing large deals, Retaining and renewals of Existing business in the market and overseeing a number of sales opportunities and to drive a credible and quality response to client's requirements for greater solutions by leveraging with Digital Operations offering that include Process Consulting, Change Advisory and Intelligent Process Automation.

Candidates will have revenue, profitability and pipeline targets while leading business expansion efforts in the context of Cognizant's global sales / delivery model.

This is a role for someone who is capable of managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closure; and for maintaining the client relationship as it moves into delivery.

Responsibilities include:

o Manage existing relationship with Client and ensure that agreed SLAs/KPIs are met. Enforce appropriate escalation mechanism to avoid surprises from BAU issues.
o Build, run and manage the governance around customer and Cognizant communication enabling better visibility, transparency and partnership within the relationship.
o Connect at CxO level in the customer organization; build/maintain relationships that enable higher customer satisfaction (measured via NPS survey system) and delivered business impact
o Build a long term vision for the large deals practice including creating, training, mentoring a team with growth in business
o Own the RFX responses playing the role of Bid Manager, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver detailed response leading to successful bids. 
o To identify and implement new business opportunities and lead acquisition of new accounts in the banking and capital markets domain
o Proactively educate, generate interest and demand in Digital Operations services with industry vertical / country sales teams and their customers
o Leverage strong domain knowledge in the Banking & Financial Services industry to understand customer's business aspirations and challenges and design comprehensive transformation propositions.
o Provide proactive solutions to the Clients understanding the market and regulatory drives changes like MIFID2, PRIIPS, Too Big to Fail etc 
o Accelerate Client Transformation programs leveraging Digital Operations solutions Process Consulting, Lean and Intelligent Process Automation 
o Responsible to forecast business resource requirements, proactively engage with Delivery to recruit and onboard resources
o Networking with potential client executives, developing and maintaining these, participating in leading industry forums, establishing the BPS brand within the vertical domain
o Provide insights on what is happening on customer's financials and drive business strategies within operating teams to add value to the customer
o Managing the budget/P&L for the portfolio


  • Proven track record winning outsourcing deals and consulting projects and scaling business in managed accounts; this includes a sound understanding of emerging trends and new business models affecting the above client segments

  • Ability to engage with clients and present to C level / Senior Director audience

  • Sound understanding of Market and Regulatory driven changes in the Global markets and its impact on universal banks and other financial services companies

  • Exposure to building Transformation solutions encompassing various Digital Operations levers like Process Excellence, Robotics Process Automation and Share Services

  • Experience of managing governance for Change The Bank (CTB) projects and working closely with Delivery and Client organization to meet the timelines in agreed budget

  • Experience in working with a global delivery model and working with geographically disperse solution teams

  • Experience of building solutions  with partners and subcontractors as part of a broader BPS Global delivery model

  • Proven experience in managing and connecting global multi-disciplinary teams, partners and alliances across customer engagement life-cycles.

  • Sound operational capabilities especially around P&L and delivery management

  • Ability to manage and coach a team of Digital Operations Consultants and leverage the expertise and skills of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in delivering tactical and strategic solutions

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to operate in a virtual and matrix team structure

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Fluency in English is must

  • Motivated, self-starter who does not require significant over site

  • Ability to forge relationships both within and external to organization

  • Comfortable with high levels of travel
