    Our client is a leading worldwide manufacturer of components and systems for the semiconductor industry that are based on vacuum technology and high-frequency applications. These products enable the manufacture of, for example, touch screens and memory chips, such as those that are used in sensors, PCs, smartphones, and tablet computers, but which are also widely used in large-scale server farms. Within the framework of our client’s expansion, which is being driven by the continually increasing market demand for innovative products, we are looking for a versatile, experienced individual for the position of Team Leader for Industrialisation

  • Your responsibilities:

    In this challenging role, you bear the overall responsibility for the realignment of the industrialisation department with the following three main tasks:

    • Team building based on the new operational tasks
    • Driving forward the further development of the current production processes focusing on automation and Industry 4.0
    • Ensuring operational excellence while achieving a continual and above-average increase of output

    Because you are responsible for the optimal industrialisation of products in day-to-day business, you and your team play a decisive and influential role for the entire company’s organisation. You accompany projects from the development phase right through to the market launch and are naturally also closely interlinked with production, which is characterised by a very high degree of added value depth. You enjoy exchanging ideas with your colleagues from R&D, production, quality control, lean management, logistics and procurement and with external partners, in order to collaboratively achieve the company goals.

  • Your profile:

    You are a technically adept individual with leadership qualities who enjoys questioning existing practices and optimally aligning the Industrialisation organisational unit in accordance with the new corporate goals and market requirements. In addition, you have the following qualities:

     

    • Basic technical education with a university degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or similar fields
    • Post graduate training in the field of business administration would be advantageous
    • 5 – 10 years’ experience in a comparable position in an industrial production environment
    • Trouble-shooting mentality, in order to ensure an optimal output also during the transitional phase (team/processes/systems)
    • Specialist technical expertise in at least one of the following fields: vacuum technology, high-voltage technology, materials engineering, joining technology, electrical engineering, design engineering
    • You have very good command of German and English (spoken and written)
