Manage finished goods supply for assigned products to meet customer service objectives while achieving inventory targets. Manage stock redeployments when required.
Communicate product requirements and priorities to manufacturing plants, maintaining monthly Requirements Plan.
Facilitate weekly supplyand monthly S&OP meetings with manufacturing plants to achieve alignment on the set plans.
Provide support to the planning manager to drive continuous improvement.
Communicate weekly review of potential back order risks or risks of manufacturing overstock to the manufacturing plants, facilitate weekly meetings with manufacturing plants.
Allocate on a daily basis product to market distribution centers based on available to ship notifications from manufacturing plants and raise purchase orders accordingly
Replenish satellite DCs from Central DC on regular basis.
Report and analyze market backorders and low stocks to determine trends and potential issues.
Expedite replenishments from plants and initiate redeployments as necessary. Assist market customer service in clearing backorders.
Provide inter-company markets with expected availability dates for any backorders, provide
Customer Service with information on availability dates for customer orders.
Work with manufacturing plants and carriers to resolve shipping discrepancies, invoicing errors, and damage claims.
Work closely with manufacturing plants, and contract manufacturing planners to support new product launches, provide dates of first supply for new product launches.
Fluent English required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply planning in a medical, pharmaceuticals, food, or consumer goods company desired
Understanding of supply chain concepts, MRP principles, and the processes of inventory management and customer order fulfillment
Continuous improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other project management/process improvement experience would be an advantage.
Strongly experienced with Excel, able to develop and use complex spreadsheets including pivot tables and other data analysis tools
Experienced with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
Experience using SAP to perform the responsibilities described above
