Trainee Corporate Controller
For our Consolidation & Reporting department in Finance, we are looking for a Trainee Corporate Controller to be based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Support the Consolidation & Financial reporting team during monthly closing process, forecast and mid-term plan
Conduct various analysis to ensure the correctness of the financial reporting packages and the consolidated numbers
Update the FX-rate table in the consolidation system
Issue several reports for the consolidation booklet (net working capital, invested capital) during quarterly closing
Contribute to the external quarterly reporting in accordance with IFRS and SIX exchange regulations
Maintain and update the excel files used for the production of the external report
Prepare and provide documentation of several notes of the financial statements for various stakeholders including auditors
Cooperate with the communication agency and work on the publishing platform
Contribute to internal projects and various ad-hoc requests
Test the improvements of the consolidation software (SAP FC) and the reporting tools (BW)
Ensure correct computation and calculation of various performance indicators
Bachelor degree in accountancy/audit/controlling
Knowledge in accounting, external / internal audit or international controlling
Consolidation know-how, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Knowledge & Skills:
MS Office (SAP FC and BW would be an advantage)
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
Business and financial acumen
English – required, German, French, Spanish would be an advantage
