Ink Formulation Expert (f/m)
Job Description :
To strengthen our the team and implementation of our Inkpresso® Concept, Archroma with his partner Ink-Situ based in Basel, Switzerland, are looking for a specialist in ink formulation and application.
Follow the digital printing technology and develop new inks as according to the evolution of the industry
Developing new inks for increased printing performance and for new applications
Testing of ink and their chemical components, setting specifications for ink components
Support the commissioning of our Ink Formulation Unit (Inkpresso®) at customers
Evaluation of competitor products
Manage the application and testing lab
Chemical degree with 5-10 years experience
Good understanding of the composition of inks for digital printing
Knowledge on different Digital printers and their print heads
Good understanding of color management and the usage and influence on different digital printers
Experienced in the formulation and application of reactive and disperse inks
Willingness to travel globally approx. 20%
Innovative and creative thinking
High degree of initiative, commitment and flexibility
Great teamwork and communication
People management experience preferred
Good knowledge of MS-Office
Fluent In English, any additional language a plus
