With offices spanning all around the globe, this position in the Global Accounting team is full of exciting challenges. In this role you will be in constant contact with the senior management of the company and all our offices.  Also, you will be directly reporting to the Director of Central Functions at our headquarters in Zurich.

Accountant (temp.) (80-100%, 9 months)

To bridge a peak period of nine months in our Global Accounting Team, we are looking for a highly-motivated and dedicated Accountant (temp.) (80-100%, 9 months) based in London or Zurich.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Handle general ledger tasks for Swiss entities like assets, or accruals independently

  • Collaborate in various internal closing activities

  • Support the review of Group entity’s reporting packages

  • Participate in local and Group audit

  • Provide support to sub-ledger accountants

  • Support local accountants on the Group financial guidance

  • Additional responsibilities as identified

Your profile

  • Qualified or studying towards Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management, or equivalent education

  • 3+ years experience in diverse international accounting and finance

  • High-energy, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and solid organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently or as a team member with a diverse group of people

  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
