IC Product Engineer

The Product Engineer is responsible to ensure product readiness for volume production, product validation and transfer of the production test HW&SW at our subcontract manufacturers. Starting from the final product definition phase, the Product Engineer increasingly takes over the product responsibility from the Test Development team which will support you throughout the test program engineering, production test qualification and release to production.
 
Tasks
  • Perform test program and test HW validation procedures for volume production
  • Implement product transfer and production ramp-up projects at subcontractors
  • Continuously improve and optimize test programs at wafer sort and / or final test
  • Yield analyses, hold lot management and initialization of related improvement actions
  • Liaison between business line and wafer / test assembly sites to provide seamless execution of production activities
  • Establish cost improvement programs by optimizing test flows and test efficiency
  • Perceive zero-defect strategy (quality continuous improvement processes)
  • Support Production line and production monitoring engineers (internal or external) for production line problem solving
Requirements
  • Master Degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Production test methodologies knowledge for High-Speed digital, Mix signal and RF
  • Experience in ATE program development (Advantest/Verigy 93K-RF and Xcerra/LTX MX-RF preferred)
  • ATE loadboard / probecard schematic entry experience
  • Hands-on experience on loadboard intervention & repair preferred
  • Test manufacturing equipment hands-on (prober/hander, termostream etc.) preferred
  • Experience with production test data analysis tools (e.g. dataPower) and methodologies
  • Linux and scripts programming experience
  • Comfortable to deal with multiple projects in parallel and priority changes
  • Used to work independently and precisely
  • Ability and willingness to work at our subcontractors site, max. 50% of time
  • Good communications skills
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Swiss- or EU-citizen or valid work permit for Switzerland
