are looking for an HR professional, who will act as a local HR partner
for the Swiss Commercial Entity which employs 93 People in Switzerland and
14 in Austria. Based in Fribourg, you will be an active member of the
Management Committee (ComEx) and you will support the Management Team and Line
managers of the commercial affiliates in Switzerland & Austria. You
will act as a subject matter expert in HR Administration, Compensation &
Benefits, you will support Recruitment, Performance & Talent Management
activities as well.
Your tasks will be the following:

  • Provide guidance and support to local managers for the administration/support of all annual corporate HR processes; e.g. performance management, promotion, salary increase, bonus, etc.
  • Advice the organization in all HR matters, observation and anticipation
  • Facilitate and coach during change process and critical leadership topics as retention, conflict management, dismissal process, etc...
  • Interface with internal / external experts in case of delicate personal circumstances
  • Promote well-being and work-life balance
  • Ensure effective management of all HR administrative  tasks (on-boarding, exit process, work certificates, work confirmation, contracts,  time management, archiving, filing, personal data and files, social events, training convention, etc.)
  • Coordinate monthly payroll cycle with HR Shared Service Center, collaboration with Global Compensation & Benefits team for all relative topics : salary policy, benchmark, package proposals in line with the market and internal practices
  • Maintain HR key figures and monthly data reporting
  • Ensure absence management including case management with the insurance. Ensure proper follow up of sickness leave, maternity leave, etc...
  • Compliance: ensure correct handling of workplace policies, procedures and practices in compliance with Employment legislation and regulations
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities: support the line managers in defining the need and the job description
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team for all the recruitment processes, networking with university and Pharma market environment, training for hiring managers
  • Conduct face to face interview with candidates and make the final choice with the line manager
  • Follow-up IPD process, Development Plans, Career plans with line managers
  • Promote the internal trainings offered through Vifor Pharma academy, global coaching concepts
  • Organize and participate to the annual local talent review process

The ideal candidate is a reliable, well-organized, proactive and trustworthy person, with minimum 5 years of experience in HR in Swiss environment. Following skills complete the profile:

  • Relevant degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Pharma market and business know-how
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss Labor Law and employment principles. Knowledge of Austrian Labor Law is an asset
  • Fluent in German, French and English
  • Experience working in a dynamic, international environment (fast growing organization)
  • Excellent user of Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced user of HR database and tools
